How Creative Corner's website grew from 15 clicks to 500 in a year. See what work I've done and how it grew to have such a big traffic in a year.
My journey with Creative Corner’s website began around 22 August 2023, when I was still a junior SEO Specialist. They had a full website redesign with a lot of new pages open. Therefore, my work was to identify if there were any technical mistakes made by developers and report them, to be fixed immediately.
Of course, there is always a possibility that you will find lots of mistakes when a website is made or remade.
The most common were ->
Firstly, I’ve conducted detailed keyword research of the industry ( which is web development & design by the way.). Because it is always the first step in every SEO cycle.
After conducting keyword research I stumbled on the keywords which were “webflow vs”. They had around 90 search volumes and no one was writing on these topics. So I attacked, which consequently led to a lot of traffic and then backlinks from someone who was researching this topic.
This was at the beginning of the new year 2024. You can also see it in the middle of the image above, where the clicks started to take off.
After already having 15+ articles, it was time for me to find backlink prospects. What I did was I searched on Google for “guest post” web development and sent a quote to all the prospects found by email. 5 of them answered and I’ve wrote some blog posts for them which linked to Creative Corner’s website. Thus you can see how the impressions and clicks started to climb up, consequently leading to more leads for the company.
This was my journey with Creative Corner, and over a year-long and exhausting continuous work we’ve made a ton of progress and awareness for the brand, and now it is identified a lot more in the webflow development community. Oh, I forgot to mention from 15 to 515 clicks in one year, and yeah I am talking about clicks a day.
